True Image with Encrypted Drives

We have laptop drives encrypted with Safeguard Easy. Can anyone tell me if they have successfully been able to clone encrypted drives? I would like to be able to clone a complete drive onto CD's and restore it onto another laptop, retaining the encryption.

We do not recommend use full encrypted hard disks with Acronis True Image because after restoration the disk may become unbootable.

I use SecureDoc from WinMagic and have been successful using TI 8 build 796 to do full sector by sector images/restores. Unfortunately, that method images the entire drive, including blank sectors so the image is the same size as the drive and it is much slower. Based on TI's official response to the encryption issue, I am also looking at other products for imaging. I am aware of one competitor that doesn't include the blank sectors. Acronis, please work on this. I love your product but the encryption is more critical today.
