True Image Nightmare

I downloaded the trial version of the program to copy a disk. I had both disks in my laptop, and swear that I followed the instructions properly thinking it would clone the boot disk. Much to my horror, when I rebooted as part of the process, my original drive wouldn't boot! The software mentioned it needed to repartition the destination drive, but not the one it was cloning.

Any clue how I can get out of this mess? I would like to restore the old drive and then actually use the product.
