True Image Loader does not start

Hello,
after having upgraded my system (from Pentium 4 to Intel Dual Core 6750 with Gigabyte GA-P35-DD3/S3), True Image 10 Full Version doesn't load when booted from disk. The action simply stops without any message. In the secure mode, though, TI 10 works. When trying to boot from the TI 8 disk, I get the abort message: <hub.c connect-debounce failed, port 2 disabled>.
Proir to the hardware upgrade, there were never any problems. Could the fault be in the BIOS settings? Does anyone have a clue?
