    TI newbie here.

What are the real differences between these two programs, besides $477?

I've read the product info. on both, but must have missed something.

    Hi, jimshu1

The difference is the difference between a PC [or network] and Server

As I do not have any servers.

So at a guess I would say one will not work on a Server.

    Take Care,

The server does not give any new features and does not even allow backup of a remote PC via domain/LAN. I will not post further comments as they would definitely be edited(no offense, that is ur job, lol). :D

Thanks for the replies! Kind of hard to understand how the $499 package has less features than the $49.

Doesn't the server variant allow command line execution?
Probably useful if you want to schedule batch operations which do other things immediately before/after a backup.
