True Image 8 Problems

TI 8 build 768, WinXP SP1

Everytime I try to create an image of my local hard drive, I get an error number 33 "Unable to create volume snapshot" I DO have Roxio Easy CD Creator v6 installed, but so far I have not read of any problems w/ v6.

Trying to create the image on an external USB drive.

Anyone have any ideas of what the problem may be?

To add to this. I have run chkdsk /r on both drives, the drive being backed up (C and the USB drive. No errors found.

 

Could you please do the following:
- Download the following file:
http://www.acronis.com/files/support/SnapAPI_s_e.exe
- Install the update choosing Enable logging on the Log Settings page.
- Reproduce the problem and send the C:\snapapi.log file to support@acronis.com. Also please send Acronis True Image log file.
