True Image 8.0 Server Linux Question

    Hi,

    is it possible to backup a system running on a LVM Partition with True Image 8.0 Server Linux?

    Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image 8.0 Server for Linux (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATISLin).

    We regret to inform you that it is not possible to backup a system running on a LVM Partition. 2.4.x kernels have LVM support as a separate kernel patch and it's not supported by Acronis True Image Server 8.0 for Linux. Please note that in 2.6.x kernels LVM functionality is included into md devices code. So it is supported by Acronis True Image Server 8.0 for Linux.
