I have an application that is based on FoxPro that I need to find a better backup solution for. The application needs to run 24/7 and the current solution requires the system to be off line for 2 hours or more for backups. The application and it's data sits on a dedicated partition so I'm thinking True Image might be exactly what I need.

At the last company I worked for we used Acronis True Image 7.0 to backup live data and I was wondering if Acronis would have any problems backing up a live system that was serving data from FoxPro. Also will the Server version write data to a Travan tape drive?

    Hello --

Thank you for taking the time to contact us and for your interest in Acronis
    True Image Server (http://www.acronis.com/products/trueimageserver/)!

Well, Acronis True Image 7.0 Server should do the job for you, though first I'd check with the trial version if this concrete tape drive is supported.

The trial version can be downloaded here -

    Thank you.
