    Hi

    I have changed from Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation to Acronis True Image 11 Home (build 6.054) (unistalled Workstation first, then installed Home)

    OS: Windows Vista Home

    The point is that with TI11 the context menu "mount" when I right click on a .tib file does not appear.

    ¿Any issue with this? ¿Can I edit the registry to enable this option? It's very useful...

    Thanks in advance!

    Upgrade to the release version (8027). You will get four choices:

    Explore
    Validate Backup Archive
    Recover
    Mount

    Hi

    First of all, thanks for your answer.
    I have just updated to the latest build (8.027) and the problem remains :doubt:

    I also have Disk Director installed on this computer, just in case it's relevant.

    ¿Any tip? Thanks in advance!

    You'll need to do a little clean up after that Beta version.

    1. Uninstall TI 11.
    2. Reboot
    3. Run Regedit As Administrator.
    4. Delete the context menu keys for TI 11. All the following keys are in HKLM\Software.

    Classes\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\{C539A15A-3AF9-4c92-B771-50CB78F5C751}

    Classes\AppID\{C4E69DB9-E094-483e-B922-E7ADE65FB497}

    Classes\CLSID\{C539A15A-3AF9-4c92-B771-50CB78F5C751}

    Classes\Drive\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\{C539A15A-3AF9-4c92-B771-50CB78F5C751}

    Classes\.tib

    Classes\tibfile

    Now only delete one data entry on the right side from the following key:

    Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Approved

    Delete data entry {C539A15A-3AF9-4c92-B771-50CB78F5C751}.

    5. Reinstall TI 11 and reboot.

    You should get the mount option.

    Thanks! Worked perfectly :)

    Now I have one more question, I hope you don't mind...:oops:

    Maybe you know how to delete the 'validate' and 'recover' options from the context menu, because I know I won't use them...

    Thanks in advance, and thanks for helping me solve my problem.
    Cheers!

    Sorry, I can't help you there. I think it's built into the program.

    I upgraded from TI 10 and I don't get the context menus either. I'm using Windows Vitsa Utlimate. Any ideas for me? I don't have any of the above mentioned reg keys.

    I only had a few of the above keys, others didn't exist.
    I removed all the keys I found after deinstalling, and after the clean install the context menu appeared.

    So, clean up any of the keys you find and try again, it's the only thing I can tell you.

    I hope you solve it! Good luck!
