trouble installing TrueImage 8

    I can start the installer... but once I get to the point where it starts the actual install, I get this error message:

    "Error Reading MediaBuilder.exe file".

    Any ideas...? Anyone?

    I've tried sending a message to support@acronis.com but for some reason it's not working... (e.g. I'm not even getting the usual "we got ur email" message)

    What are you installing from? CD? A Downloaded file? Maybe try re-downloading the latest update version?

    wdormann, thx for the reply.

    I'm installing from a downloaded file.

    file name = TrueImage80_u_en.exe

    btw, this is actually the True Image 8 upgrade... not sure if that matters.

    I've also tried to re-download the file, but not luck. Same problem as before.

    And just for fun, I also tried to download and install the TrueImage 8 demo program. That works... sortof. says license is expired so I cant use it. But at least it gets past the "MediaBuilder.exe" issue and installs successfully.
