With an earlier report about Yahoo practically demanding their employees to use the service, it must be interesting around there today. Mrs. Mayer is already closely watched by Wall Street and others, she might want to do a bit more damage control here and find a solution quickly.

Yahoo controlling chiefs let a golden opportunity slip right through their fingers way back when......something on this order although likely temporary enough, echoes yet another indication of a failed reassembly to sturdy this once reliable giant.

I personally think they are far too focused on mobile advertising dollars than rebuilding the empire. Though quite honestly I feel that way about numerous companies. I quite liked the Yahoo of old, and feel that they blew more than one opportunity.

My spam box there was certainly full enough this morning, so parts of Yahoo Mail are working fine. Thank heaven I decided ages ago that shouldn't be my "primary" address.

Yahoo mail won't display correctly in Google Chrome and there's a message that I have an unsafe script on the page (I have j/s disabled by default). Upon enabling the unsafe script the page loads and shows my email but then it shows the https is not secure.

Two days and going here. This is really hurting Yahoo.

It's been working fine here all along. The only thing I've noticed that's different is that they didn't challenge me when I accessed them through Tor.

Indeed, they are going to have to be much more informative about this. They are bound to have some idea of what has gone wrong by now. If it was something that could have been completely avoidable and they are trying not to embarrass themselves, it is backfiring. If it goes on for another couple of days, they will really be up a certain dirty creek without a paddle.

Hey, at least it was only two days. When I left Yahoo, they actually responded my support mail after 1-2-3 months (can't remember exactly because it happened more than 5 years ago [maybe more than 7]). My problem with them was that I could access everything except the mail page.

USA still the best. But barely.
This latest fubar has got me looking to jump.

But for my own reasons: Outlook, Gmail, Yandex, Zoho, AIM, iCloud are out.

~ Off Topic Remarks Removed ~

I want something dependable, free & a substainable company.

    Looking at Mail.com (has 200 domains) & GMX.com. Both owned by 1 & 1 company.

    Suggestions?

Now that I think about it, the only mail I've got through Yahoo for the last week has been spam. Nothing has turned up in the actual inbox, not that I get anything of value there anyway.

Same here - replica sites, Nigerian royal family members offering millions for "your help," teenage porn - disgusting. I don't get any of that from Outlook or Gmail.

I have two Yahoo accounts and everything has been normal for me lately. I found none of the issues that have been reported here. The spam filter works great too.

I'm in Europe, and my addresses are not from yahoo.com, maybe that makes a difference.

I have doubts that Yahoo will be able to get off of that hot seat they are on for some time after this. The last thing they need while trying to reinvent the company and become a big player again is to lose customer trust.

They've managed to do that pretty well over the past few months.

My problem is that to date I haven't found a way to transfer all the mails somewhere better. Free yahoo account just doesn't make it possible :(

I'm having an issue where I can't add Spam addresses to my Blocked Addresses.
