does any1 know wut it is?LOL
i have a total of 3 anti-virus programs and adware removers (3 computers so 1 each) i did definition search but NO anti-virus program could find wut "Trojan.Win32.StartPage.is" is. not in sophos, not in symantec, and not in norton. i did an online check in http://www.kaspersky.com/remoteviruschk with my file, khhp.dll, and it says that it's infected with "Trojan.Win32.StartPage.is".

a help would be very much appreciated :)

I couldnt find anything either not on the .is variant. Well I take that back I did but it didnt help much in another language that I can speak lol http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=...ge.is&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&c2coff=1&sa=N&tab=wg
I looked up some of other names what was on that page, here is the links
    http://www.pandasoftware.com/virus_info/encyclopedia/overview.aspx?IdVirus=48563&sind=0
    http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_126244.htm
That page panda says StartPage.FH alias is Trojan.Win32.StartPage.is
Thats all I could find as far as a antivirus page listing it and removing it.
    It has several variants http://www.pestpatrol.com/pestinfo/t/trojan_win32_startpage.asp
    http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/trojan.startpage.html
Here is search on mcafee page http://vil.nai.com/vil/alphar.asp?SearchType=2&char=startpage&action=Search
Run panda's or mcafee's or norton's online virusscan. Spybot or adaware should detect and remove it I would think. Do a search on here and on adaware's and spybot's forum and see what you can find on startpage, all of em but that .is variant seems to be well known. There is a good many on here about it. And when I searched on google got some stuff from http://www.computercops.biz to. But looks panda has it nailed right down to the name in the alias. I would be running scans cuase you might have more than just that panda says it can install other stuff to, plus just the fact that you have it.

It is the same thing.StartPage.FH from panda's page is Trojan.Win32.StartPage.is. Alias is just another name for it. Different antivius, spyware/adware, and trojan etc.. companies name thier detections different lots of the time. StartPage.FH is Trojan.Win32.StartPage.is though.
