Trojan Virus - Trojan-Gen.{VC}

    I tried to find info on this virus that showed on my computer and followed the instructions I found on your site. I have no idea how to remove the virus, any help would be greatly appreciated it. I ran Ad-Ware 6.0, removed the files it found, rebooted the computer and ran HijackThis.

    Welcome to Wilders.

    Before you start, please unzip or move HijackThis to a separate folder of its own. The program will make backups to the folder it's in. These easily get lost in a temporary folder or a folder with other programs.

    Check the following items in HijackThis.
    Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    Hi, thanks so much for your help. I followed the instructions you posted and this file was not found:
    C:\Program Files\Kontiki\

    Also with the C:\PROGRA~1\INCRED~1\ I got the following message:

    "Refers to a locations that is unavailable. Could be on a hard drive on this computer or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted or that you are connected to the Internet and then try again. If it still cannot be located, the informations might be moved to a different location"

    Thast folder is not hidden or anything so you can safely assume it was removed by one oy your scanners. :)
