So far I really like this program! Can someone tell me what the following log entries indicate when I'm going online? I'm using WinXP HE with a wireless Linksys Router:

    Hi Jimbo40,

I don't see the content of the first row but I suppose there is a D (Downlink) for these packets.
You are just receiving UDP packets on port 5120 from machines ipt.dtcd06.dial.aol.com and ipt.ftcg9.dial.aol.com. The packets are blocked by the UDP global rule (which blocks everything not allowed for UDP protocol).

Thanks, what is the significance of the earlier entries? These seem to happen when I initially turn on my wireless laptop and router/modem.

    Thanks again

    Hi,

ICMP Code 3 and Type 3 means Destination Unreachable/port unreachable.
This happens when the PC tried to send an UDP packet to a non-existing port on the remote computer, or when you received an UDP packet from a remote computer and there was no UDP application listenning to this port on your PC.
These are the cases I know, but perhaps there are some other I don't know.
