    Greetings,

I downloaded the trial version today (August 17th) of Disk Director Suite 9. Following are quick details. I have not applied the Server 2003 SP1 to any of our servers at this time.

Server 1 - Operating System: Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition
    Dell PowerEdge 2400
    2NIC's
    Perc 2/DC
    2Gb Memory
    Raid Configuration

    C:\Drive Free Space: 1.27Gb
    E:\Drive Free Space: 17.5Gb

Several web sites hosted on this server. It is very critical to be done properly the first time for both servers.

SharePoint Portal Server 2003 installed and running as well.

    User Directory - Files etc.

Objective: Use space from E:\Drive and increase size of C:\Drive

Server 2 - Operating System: Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition
    Dell PowerEdge 4300
    Perc 2/SC
    4NIC's
    1Gb Memory
    Raid Configuration

    C:\Drive Free Space: 603Mb
    E:\Drive Free Space: 34.2Gb

    Mail Storage
    SQL Server
    User Storage - Files etc.

Objective: Use space from E:\Drive and increase size of C:\Drive

Is there anything I should be aware of before I install and try this trial version?

I briefly read that raid configurations are supported. I am assuming all types of Raid config's are supported as well as mirrored drives?

Is the best method to increase free space on each C:\ Drive to use the freespace wizard?

Any precautions I shoudl take befoe I begin?

This is quite urgent as I am preparing to install SharePoint Antivirus software this coming Friday (August 19th) 2005, so much feedback and advice will be appreciated and welcomed.

Once again, I cannot afford any downtime as I will be performing the re-sizes in a live production environment. No test environment is available.

    Thank you in advance,
    Curious

Evidently an error free approach with this product cannot be verified.
