Trial Version Expired, Free Scanner Inquiry

    My Ewido trial version expired :( today. When it wasn't expired it scanned very slooooooowly and thoroughly which I did not mind because it assured me it was doing a great job :) . I never used the process guard or real time protection feature becauee I heard it slows up a pc alot and I already use Spyware Doctor's real time protection process guard feature. Anyway, I noticed after it expired and I manually updated signatures and manually scanned my pc, it scanned and finished the job very quickly. I was wondering why this happend...is it because the free trail period scanner and paid versions scan slower and more thoroughly then the expired non paid free ewido scanner o_O

    Could be a few things to cause different scan times but paid not paid should not be one of them to my knowledge.

    Strange... It's exactly the same engine with the same options etc.
