Trend Micro House Call

    How is Trend Micro's HouseCall? I remember reading a few months ago it was a good PC Checkup scan because it could remove malware. Today I noticed HouseCall is now on the list of scanners on VirusTotal so I was just wondering if it's worth using now :)

    I always use it for a second opinion if things like A-Squared or SAS aren't picking things up and my PC is acting a bit off. It picks some things up, but Trend Micro's detection rates with any of their products aren't anything too spectacular.

    If I am not wrong, Trend Micro HouseCall utilizes cloud components (Trend Micro Smart Protection Network)
    Akin to McAfee and McAfee Artemis.
    So the new Trend Micro Housecall probably has a better detection rate than its predecessors.
