    Hello,
That's why I'm using NIS 2009, IE 9 and Vista SP7, I'm ahead of the time.
    Cheers,
    Mrk

Hi, I'd like to know if I can update from TM IS 2007 to TM IS 2008?

Yes, I believe upgrading is free is long as your license is still active. Just download the correct regional package for 2008 from your local Trend Micro website and use your existing license key. :)

2008 took my 2007 license without any problems.

If you use the Spam Email feature of PC-cillin Internet Security 2007 and Outlook is NOT your email application,
please be very thorough when thinking about the upgrade to Trend Micro Internet Security 2008 or Pro.

TM's Anti-Spam Toolbar (to add Approved and Blocked Senders) is only added to Outlook and Outlook Express.
This toolbar also lets you decide the Protection Level.

In 2007 you could also add Approved and Blocked senders using the INTERNET & EMAIL CONTROLS / SPAM EMAIL FILTER / SETTINGS option.

In the new 2008 and Pro versions the SETTINGS option has been removed and so you can only add
Approved and Blocked senders if you are an Outlook or Outlook Express user.

TM Online Chat Support confirmed this "disaster" this morning.
I was told "What you can do is set the setting for the scan of the email only"

Since I use Thunderbird for my email application, I'll either go back to 2007 or install a different package.
And what makes this even more illogical is the fact that TM 2008 and Pro support the scanning of Thunderbird

Bought TMIS07 and used it for a while on my machine but really had a bad to moderate experience with it. May test out 2008, but am not really excited about it.
