    Yes, but damn, to be reduced to excerpts of the Internet :( But it's better than nothing, I guess.

    I haven't used Whonix for a while. But when you update, like with apt-get update, you need to verify all of these updates? I didn't know that was a problem. I'm getting ready to install it again so I guess I need to find a tutorial. Thanks for mentioning this. I had never even considered that this could be a problem.

    No, there's no need to verify the apt-get stuff. Verification is built in. But it is prudent to verify the Whonix VM downloads.
