    Hi guys,

Somehow I ended up with a Tor Browser folder on my desktop, and I'm stumped as to how it got there. Is this bundled with other software, perhaps Firefox plug-ins, or is there another deceptive way it gets on systems (torrent sites)? The funny thing, it doesn't appear to be installed - no listing in control panel. Are there any malware issues with this thing? Annoying!

    Cheers,

    Joey

P.S. Please be aware I'm not claiming I didn't do it - obviously I did! I just want to find out how it might have slipped by me!

    That's very strange.

TBB isn't something that normally gets bundled with software downloads.

What's on your desktop -- the archive, or the extracted folder?

This thread has me curious too. I have TBB on a linux VM's desktop and I have been thinking about this thread. I don't see too many ways that someone from "afar" could have placed it there. TBB doesn't even install so using it would not be very stealth since you would see it being used. Is TBB on a linux machine or a windows machine? If you figure this out keep us/me in the loop. Thanks.

Maybe you got drunk one night ad decided to try it. Or maybe you had company that used your computer.
