I am drawing a complete blank this morning on what I am doing wrong between GSS 1.110 beta and adding Tony's rules to the RegDefend component.

I download the Zip file and extract it. It extracts as Tony.gsr with a size of 448 kbytes.

I change the name to Tony.ghst

When I try to "Import Group" in the RegDefend component of GSS 1.110 Beta, Tony does not show up in the list of Global Registry Rules.

What in heaven's name am I totally misunderstanding with this file? o_O

I had to exit GSS and restart it. After this the new ruleset will show up in the list.

Hmm...I've tried that again and again. It just does not show up. Does the extracted size of 448 kbytes sound correct? That's a lot larger than the extracted size of previous RegRun and Tony files that I have archived in storage.

    Hi Siliconman01

You will notice where you installed Regdefend you have a standard.gsr which is the standard rule set. Be sure Tony's file is named Tony.gsr, and that it is where the other .gsr files are. Then reboot when you open Regdefend click on the down arrow by standard, and you will see Tony as one of the selections. Just use Tony as your standard set.
