Sorry for the panic and pandemonium concerning the Nod server issues and problems with signature updating. After two months of dealing with this inconsistency, I was at wits end... it has been a love/hate relationship with Nod as I tried to resolve these problems and understand why this was happening. I became frustrated and annoyed. My apologies everyone.

anyway...

I have implemented a suggestion by HiTech_boy, which just might work in my particular situation, many thanks to HiTech_boy for his suggestion and to everyone else who has helped stabilize my mental health over these issues.

I am calm now, running my Nod32 antivirus once again, patiently waiting on Eset to square things away and get their ship in order. If all else fails, I will continue to manually update until version 3.
