    Ok thanks chicos y chicas....
I think i stay with ImageBurn and i am thinking about buying Prasi for some rar burning stuff i need sometimes.
These two tools do everything i need, little space and stable. ImageBurn is excellent and the programer is adding nice features every new release, good forum. What else do we need.

In simple words it goes via Mode->Build (Build Image) and burn. You have the option to save the image and burn it later, or 'Burn on the fly' directly to the CD/DVD.
    Here are some Guids

Check out BurnAtOnce, an Open Source burner. Very compact. Burns music, data, image files. I've burned several Linux and BSD versions with it. Also copies from one CD to another and reads to image. Will also burn DVDs when used with ProDVD. The interface isn't fancy but it works good. Don't be fooled by its small size.

Used this one a long time ago, but development was stopped. But thanks anyway. What's also nice for quick burning is the plugin for Total Commander.

Seams that i have to look at it again

So i have to make a decisions between:
    1. Prasi Ones
    2. Image Burn
    3. burnatonce

I don't want to use several burn software. Could result in conflict in case of Multisessions. Seams that Nr. 2 and 3 cover all, up to music burning and that for free (well some donation).

I hate to make this kind of decisions :). I like all three of them.

I use ImageBurn for DVD and burnatonce for everything else. If I were to pay $$ for something it would be Prasi Ones.

If you're going to backup DVD's you'll need a few other things no matter which one of the 3 you choose.

Nice discussion. I want to ask one Q.
How u people compare CD BurnerXP Pro and IMGBurn? Both are being actively developed.
Which one is better and feature-rich?
Also do they can verify data after buning?

    Thanks.

    - First the GUI and Handling of those two are totaly different. CDB has a Explorer GUI, IB something like Burnatonce
    - Both don't support for now _no_ Multisession.
    - IMGBurn is build of the idea to burn everything via Images. So also if you only want to burn _one_ file, IB builds first internal an image and burns it than on the fly. The possibilities of fine tuning are endless in IB.
    - CDB is simple and does what it has to do without big adjustment possibilities.
    - IB is far more advanced i think and reacher of adjustments.
    - IB can verify burnings, CDB i don't know.

I'm not a fan of Nero Suite either. Too many functions I don't need and the trial Nero Premium failed already one time writing an .iso-file on CD, which is a simple task.
So I'm going to use freewares for awhile until I know exactly what I need regarding CD's and DVD's.
An all-in-one software isn't a good choice IMO and my readings confirm it.

I can't give you a good answer yet, because my computer is brand new and burning CD/DVD's isn't my priority #1 yet. I had more urgent problems in the beginning.

But I have already 3 softwares in mind :

    CDBurnerXP Pro
    http://www.cdburnerxp.se/download.php
    DeepBurner
    http://www.deepburner.com
    ImgBurn
    http://www.imgburn.com/

to replace an older version of Nero, that was delivered with my new BenQ CD/DVD-writer. Nero Premium failed, but the older version of Nero v6.6.1.4 didn't fail yet. Right now I hardly burn CD's, but that will change in the future.
