Hi, Is Tiny Wall just as good as Comodo, Online Armor or any other firewall ? Do many people use it on this forum? I want a simple one without all the pop-ups Thanks (hope this works)
Don't worry, it works. Regarding about TinyWall, I won't compare it to Comodo FW or OA. It's basically just an addon to Windows built-in FW. There's a review about it here.
If you are an average user, just stick with Windows FW and that's it.If you are a power user,go with any of these HIPS firewalls:Online Armor,Privatefirewall,Comodo...Tinywall is nothing else but a tool to help you handle better the Windows firewall rules ,it's not a firewall by itself.
Then you should use TinyWall. It makes it simple to configure Windows Firewall rules and doesn't have any pop-ups.
I've never used TW but when I've learned its default deny approach I configured my FW in this way - only explicitly allowed apps can connect, everything else is blocked and no popups. And I like it.
