Is there any reason to think that Time Machine could not do a backup of a Lacie firewire external drive formatted using Paragon NTFS for Mac?

NTFS partitions managed by Paragon NTFS for Mac can't be used in Time Machine.

I'm brand new here, but it seems likely that the NTFS volume should get backed up fairly well by Time Machine--even if the NTFS volume should not be used as a Time Machine repository.

Am I wrong? Perhaps there would be problems with NTFS-specific permissions/ACLs...
