    I have updated to latest build, and tried the "acpi=off noapic" option. Neither worked.

    Attached sysinfo.txt file.
    The device WD 1600JB is listed a few times in the text below.

    Here is paste of sysinfo.txt:

    Try this:

    1) Turn the PC off (power down)
    2) Turn on the external firewire HD that has already been connected to the PC.
    3) Turn on the PC to start TI9 from the recovery CD.

    I found that if I turned on the PC before turning on the external firewire HD, TI9 would not see the drive in the recovery (Linux) environment.

    Hello whscott,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    We are very sorry for such a big delay with the response.

    I'm afraid that the issue with your external FireWire hard drive being not recognized in Acronis Rescue Mode requires a deeper investigation.

    Could you please submit a request for technical support containing the following files and information?

    - The exact vendor and model of your external FireWire hard drive;

    - Acronis Report created in the way described in Acronis Help Post;

    Please keep your external FireWire hard drive connected while creating Acronis Report;

    - Already collected Linux system information (sysinfo.txt file);

    - Step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears.

    We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the most suitable solution as soon as possible.

    Thank you.
