Hi, I am using TI10 on my Vista x64 and so far so good. I have setup scheduled incremental image backups daily. I just installed PerfectDisk (disc defrag) and I noticed that the image after defrag are a lot larger even when there is no substantial change to the actual hard disk contents. Is this normal? Can this be somehow avoided?

Or is TI10 incompatible with defrag programs?

Also, I wouldn't have both running on schedules. Having the defragger run while ATI is running, is just inviting trouble. Keep it simple.

Also I've run some tests. I do defrag frequently, and although incrementals/differentials do save some disk space for me they actually take longer then just doing a complete image. Also I only image from a recovery environment.

I lilke to keep things simple. Help the software do it's job.

    Pete
