Getting a "E000101F4: Application module Error - Cannon find the necessary Acronis True Image Home Modules. Please reinstall Acronis True Image Home"

Believe its due to different versions of True image being installed on my test computer.

    Here what been done:

    - Installed True image 9.1 WS trial
    - Trial Expired before I could complete my testing
    - Removed True image 9.1 WS trial
    - Tried to reinstall, trial still expired
    - After talking with online support (TI trial puts something on the system so you can only run the trial once - stupid), so just went out and bought TI 9.1 Workstation with universal restore
    - Installed full retail 9.1 WS
    - Strange reboots occuring
    - Issues with slow network image writeouts to Windows 2003 SBS RC2
    - Updated to latest version of 9.1 WS
    - Issues still with Windows 2003 SBS RC2
    - Uninstalled TI 9.1 WS
    - Installed TI 9.0 SOHO (now called home)
    - TI 9.0 SOHO doesn't work as expected (Just sits on starting backup image)
    - Run 9.0 SOHO repair.. Issues still there
    - Uninstall 9.0 SOHO
    - re-Installed TI 9.0 SOHO (now called home)
    - TI 9.0 SOHO doesn't work as expected (Just sits on starting backup image)
    - Uninstall 9.0 SOHO
    - Performed manual uninstall as documented in forums
    - E000101F4 error occurs now when starting home 9.0
    - Strange reboots stop occuring

I'm guessing I goofed on the manual uninstall, or performed the wrong uninstall (There were a few differenet threads on uninstalling TI). Thats in addition to the fact that it wasn't working as expected before I even attempted the manual uninstall.

Any one have any idea on what can be done to fix this?

(True image is really starting to grate my nerves.. I Should of gone out an purchased another backup tool to backup my test system before letting True Image get a foot hold in my test system...)

    Any help is appricated.

    Paul

    Solution

Used a True Image SOHO image made before I startng testing with Acronis WS to restore back the OS parition (Didn't realize that I'd made it)

It was a workable solution for me; but not the kind of solution that should be needed to uninstall a product thats gone flakey...
