I am currently trying to automate my backups and have them run with commands like:

    TrueImageService.exe /script: [scriptnam.tis]

in order to be able to use the windows scheduler rather than TI's own.
    Seems to work.

Now I'd like to make use of some batchfiles that would test certain
conditions of the system both prior and after the execution of a backup.
However I could not find any documentation on exit codes (errorlevels) that TI passes on after successful or unsuccessful execution.
    Is there any info available?
I found https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=110731 some references to the matter, but no comprehensive info.
How is the state of this currently?
If I have missed something and you can point me to some info about the meaning of existing exit codes, I'd be thankful.

    Sorry for bumping this -
I am fully aware that there are more urgent question to answer and for some users this question may seem rather exotic anyhow, but on the other hand my question can be answered very quickly by someone in the know....

    really nobody out there?
Please...., if you can, give me a hint!

    Hello wolf,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

I'm afraid that the current version of Acronis True Image does not produce such exit codes. As I have already mentioned in this previous thread, the only way to determine if the backup creation or creation plus validation has completed successfully is to analyse the respective log file located in \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImage\Logs folder.

If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support or post any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.

    Thank you.

    Thanks Alexey!

So maybe this could be a suggestion for further development then.
It seems a useful thing to have some means of branching automatic processing depending on the outcome of the backup operation --- all the more so since we can now have an automatic verification.
Manually checking the log is something that I easily grow tired of, if I have no particular reason to suspect an error ;)
