    Hello:

I upgraded from TI8 to TI9 but the mouse does not function with the boot disk I created using TI9. I was able to use the touchpad on an IBM T42.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello electron,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

First of all please make sure that USB legacy support is disabled in BIOS settings.

If that doesn't help please do the following:

Boot your computer from the Acronis True Image rescue disc and press F11 key when the "Starting Acronis Loader..." message appears. After you get the "Linux Kernel Settings" prompt, please remove the "quiet" word, click on the "OK" button and wait for # prompt to appear. Please insert a diskette into a floppy disk drive and issue the following commands:

    cd tmp
    mkdir mntdir
    mount /devfs/floppy/0 mntdir
    sysinfo > mntdir/sysinfo.txt
    umount mntdir

Send us the sysinfo.txt file from the diskette.

Please also issue the following commands:

    cd tmp
    mkdir mntdir
    mount /devfs/floppy/0 mntdir
    cat /proc/bus/usb/devices > mntdir/usb.txt
    umount mntdir

Send us the usb.txt file from the diskette.

Please send gathered information to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread. Please point in the subject of your letter that this request should be forwarded to Marian Fadeeva. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
