    Hi, I am using TI since v. 6 and I just bought a new notebook
    and installed TI8 (no upgrade, just new TI8 with the upgrade key). I created a bootable cd and I am testing it. TI boots from a cd, I have a splash screen then a black screen with Acronis logo and "Loading, please wait..." message. That's it.
    No keys work and it just sits there until I reboot.
    My hardware is Toshiba TabletPC R10. Anybody can help?
    Thanks

    So, I post a question, do a research and answer it myself. The problem was with an external usb drive where I put my created image. Too bad, because it is a small self powered drive and I had to replace it with another one with a big power supply. The second drive worked.

    Hi finist,

    Glad you got your system working. see the following thread;
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=92083
    This thread has a lot of useful info in the same area you (and I) had problems. It appears many have problems with drivers (in particular USB) drivers when attempting to use the rescue CD.
    regards
