TI 8.0 at Boot Problem?

    Since upgrading to True Image 8.0 (from 6.0 to 7.0) my Windows XP Pro OS is unstable. This is clear when I go to "My Computer" to inspect the drives.
    Any time I right click to get hard drive information my system does a soft crash. I can't inspect the drives or select tools for defragmenting etc.
    Anyone have any Ideas how to fix?
    I also suspect that a BIOS update is part of the problem for my ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe using BIOS relase v17.
    I tried to go back to v16, but the True Image F11 manager seems to interfer with the process. :oops:

    Hello --

    Please, can you clarify, what do you mean under "soft crash" and if you are using the latest build of Acronis True Image 8.0.
