I have TI 11 that stopped working. I did a uninstall then installed it but I can’t get past Disks & Partitions when I try to do a backup, Next is grayed out & it stays gray for 30min. I did a reinstall 3 times but that didn’t help. (Also Next is grayed out on all the other tasks that TI 11 offers)
Any ideas on what the problem could be?

    Hello,

    which build do you have?
If you don't have the latest please download it from Acronis website.

If you have tried it under Windows please try it again with the rescue-CD.
    Can TI recognize your devices?

    TI Home 11.0 (build 8,101)
    I installed TrueImage11.8101_s_en & it still doesn’t work.
I’ll try my rescue CD & get back to you, thanks for the tip.

TI 11 sees my C & partationed D drive but it sees my H external drive as my E drive where I have my rescue CD installed, my rescue CD worked but it took 1.5 hrs where the TI 11 icon takes less that 20min.

The rescue-CD starts with Linux and follows the linux rules to assign the letters to the devices.
    It doesn't matter...

That 'Ti11-icon' shows 20 minutes could be wrong because the estimate of time is not reliable.

Note: That rescue-CD works is a good sign (I do my backups generally with this CD).

But: You want to backup under Windows with TI.
Can you please give us a screenshot where Ti stopps?

Please go to the dialog before.
Don't choose "Disk/Partition' but 'MyData'. Then click 'Next'.

What happens then? Do you see the 'Explorer-Tree'?

I see the 'Explorer-Tree' so I tried to backup My program files but TI said, Processing, please wait. After 30min I did a Task Manager End Task.

Ok, I wanted to know whether Ti can read your devices.

Are you sure that your partitions are healthy?

Try "chkdsk x: /f /r" from the DOS-box (x ist the drive letter).
    It takes a while...

Diskmanagement is not reliable in this case.
Yes, try it and let us know...

Thanks for the help. It might take a while to do the chkdsk. I have other things on my mind now. I found out that a friend of 15 years in the states died 3 days ago & now that a friend of 6 years here in the Philippines died 2 hours ago, that makes TI 11 not working a minor problem.

I did a chkdsk /f /r but Next is still grayed out & when I choose MyData'. Then click 'Next' I see the tree & all my Folders & Files. I tried to do a Backup on a 157mb Folder but TI said, Processing, please wait. After 15min I did a Task Manager End Task.
This is frustrating & I’ve been thinking about doing a Format on my HD but everything works accept TI 11 & I thought a big plus with TI 11 was to never have to do a Format again?

This is more info when the trouble started.
    Can’t install Acronis TrueImage11
It was working ok last week but when I tried to do a backup it wouldn’t let me so I tried an install that didn’t work so I tried to remove TI 11 in Add or Remove programs & it says “The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personal”. It gives me an error E00640003 when I try to install. Error # 1610, (0xFFF0) code = 8007064A) Tag = 0xBD28FDBD64ED88AF
Might not have enough privileges. (I’m using my admen account) I then deleted all Acronis & True image from my computer & got TI 11 to install but it’s still not working.

    Hello mc1548 and MrMorse,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image

Please submit a request to Acronis Customer Service Department here and provide us with the following information:

Please download Acronis Report utility available here and run it, create a report and send it to us. Please compress the Acronis Report output file into an archive (e.g. with WinZip) and attach to your message by browsing for the archive.
This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.

I may recommend you to use our Live Chat service here in order to receive immediate support.

    Thank you.
