    Hi,
I'm a TI 9 user and I download a TI 11 Home demo version to test it on new computer before buying.
I install it on an Acer Travelmate 5520 with Windows XP.
I can make full image of my DD on an another computer on my
network, but I can't retore it.
I create a rescue Disk an I've a probleme when I boot on it :
    - I get the screen with "AcronisTrue Image Home (Full version)...."
    - when I clic on a choose after I've a black screen and nothing.

When I restore, not with recue disk, but normaly in Windows, I've the same thing when in the restore process TI restart the computer.

Perhaps the problem come from the demo version.

Thanks for some informations about this.

Version 9 must be un-installed before installing 11 trial. Try un-installing and re-installing again.

    Thanks MudCrab,
with quiet acpi=off noapic it's OK,
and my mistake is that I don't read "PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU POST" before post.

    MudCrab,

Could you please explain what the "quiet acpi=off no apic" option actually does.
