hey wilders, ive been using threatfire for a while now and it works nicely but i have a question.

in the threat control section, there is a list of of programs that you have allowed. if i remove them from the allowed list, will it delete the program from my computer? or just remove the program from the threatfire allowed list?

It will only delete the entry from the "allowed" list. There is no relationship between the Add/Remove Programs applet in Windows and the allowed list in Threatfire...:thumb:

ok phew, thats good to know lol.

if you dont mind, i have another question. im using it at level 5 sensitivity, does that protect the registry and would it alert you if something were trying to add itself to lets say, HKEY\LM\software? or would that require something like a custom rule?(read Kees's old threatfire thread and just thought of it)

try it. go create a string in "HKEY\LM\software" :D
if it does not alert you.. then it probably won't in the future XD

If I were you.. I'll set the sensitivity to level 1 and customize it the way I want.
darn.. now I feel like trying threatfire again.
