Not really, Zero Day Result based on blacklist is influenced by the time zone the test is performed (especially 1 hour findings).

Unless the "zero day/one hour" test follows the sun, the results are influenced by location of malware analists and honeypots of the AV companies. Since MRG claims to be UK based, the results are most relevant for UK. The further you are away from Greenwich, the lower the relevance of this test is.

Products of the year, Kaspersky & Emsisoft at the top again.

And there is MBAM, beating many full AVs.

Defensewall is always solid (just that pesky 32 bit limitation).

And Zemana looking good too. Although.... as I understand it, Zemana/HMP provides no protection. They got their results based on a user initiated scan. This is not as good as blocking the malware.

Panda, AVG, Microsoft and McAfee underperforming as usual.

Sorry fella, usually your logic is good but your way off base with this one.

This implies companies only work within conventional office hours of their respective timezones.

If that is the case then they need shooting..all the top performers have research teams that cover the complete 24 hour day.

If anything these *tests* expose those that need shooting...

Good results for all of them!
MBAM did quite good considering it only has a signature/heuristic engine, nothing else.
