I've been thinking about adding Prevx to my current security setup which is also KIS 2010/2011.

What I do like about Prevx is the Safe Online and Rootkit detection features.

I do have some questions though.

Will running both KIS and Prevx cause my internet browsing and PC to slow down?

Will I be able to upgrade to Prevx 4 when release for free?

If I decide to buy it. Should I download the Safe Online version (Facebook) or the one from the Prevx website to purchase? Is there a difference?

    Thanks.

    :)

Yes it will work fine with your setup and will not slow down your Internet browsing! Also you will get v4 when it comes out but if you are going to purchase download from here: http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp and purchase from here: http://www.prevx.com/buynow.asp just pick how long you would like it as it's gets cheaper the more years you get!

Just to clarify what Triple Helix has posted - as of this point, Prevx 4 will be a free upgrade over Prevx 3, although we are still in the development phase so it will be some time until it is available for purchasing :)

It would probably be a bit better to use the "normal" Prevx 3.0 version from http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp as that leaves all protection on by default and doesn't hide any messages from the user (the SafeOnline version for Facebook hides some messages to make a cleaner user experience, but they might be helpful if you do experience an infection).

Let us know if you have any other questions! :)
