And my two (2) questions remain...

 

I've tested the 'deluxe edition'(with Open Office 300+ MB) and this is my impression: the CD takes a long time to load, almost 5 minutes(Lucid Puppy loads in less than 1 minute). Upon opening the desktop for some reasons the screen brightness is dimmed, and when I try to recover the original brightness it never gets as bright as with Windows or Lucid Puppy. Firefox screen definition is somewhat of poor quality and browsing speed is also slower.

Well, it is something to use when one wants to have maximum security, but it really feels like a tool rather than an OS, albeit with its known limitations. Linux's Lucid Puppy is also a mini OS, but it is so complete and functional that I could use it instead of Windows most of the times.

loved it!

it comes with a firewall which adds a little extra protection.

only problem is that i seem to be stuck at a resolution of 1024 x 768 with my nvidia but that's no big deal.
it's only for banking.
