The Snowman - In Memoriam

It is with great sadness that I want to let you know that The Snowman has passed away some weeks ago.

- in tears -

Snowy, The Snowman, was for so many years so very ill, suffering in such terrible pains.
He was so strong and was figthing so very hard.

He was my dearest friend for the last six years.
I lost contact with him some months ago.
I wished that I was there for him, holding his hand.

My dearest Buddy is now gone, but not forgotten.
He is now in a Better Place, without pain, reunited with his loved ones.

His ashes were spread near a lake where he loved to go fishing.

Dearest Buddy, big brother of mine, thank you for everything from the bottom of my heart

I know that The Snowman wasn't a member here anymore for several years, but I am begging the mods for allowing this Tribute.
There is an old thread in ten-forward in which dear old friends Checkout, root and he were talking about their health problems.

Yet the darkness of another night is upon us...
the warm wind whips gently on the windows as raindrops pelt the ground below making for the sound of natures sweet music.....
if a person but stands quietly but for a moment all that is of Heaven will embrace him.

An this moment in time the world does not exist......an all that remains are memories.

Thanks for informing us, of this Sad news. I remember him from those times. The fact that he was able to hold on for another 9 years is amazing !

Hello Jan,

Thanks for letting us know about snowy. I was just thinking of him recently and wondering how he was. I knew his health had been bad for quite a long time and was hoping he was doing well. He is one that I have missed since he has not been here in a while, and definitely one I will continue to miss in the future. This news saddens my heart but I am glad he is now better with no pain. I have many fond memories of discussions here with him. May he rest in peace and his loved ones remaining also find peace. With my warmest heartfelt regards...

Hope there's mountains, rivers and lakes where you are.
Also glad you are finally out of pain...
You will always be a memory of courage for me.

You stood up to your problems, you stood up for your country as it
was meant to be.
You fought the good fight, you reminded us to speak up for what's
right, not just accept the pablum.

Think of us once in a while..
We wlll certainly think of you!

Sad news. I have never heard of or speaked to him personally, but it's always sad when someone dies, so may he rest in peace.

Try to remember that he'll live on in our memories (and -oh! what memories some of them are!) and that when you do leave those kinds of memories behind, then your time here on earth was well spent.
