    Op-ed: Lavabit’s primary security claim wasn’t actually true.

    Note: The title of this thread is based on the last major subtitle within the article where
    Mailpile, Leap Encrypted Access Project, and a link to Trevor Perrin (twitter feed) working on an asynchronous protocol for secure e-mail all firgure prominently.

    Also, the article's author, Moxie Marlinspike, mentions that "Despite what anyone tells you, end to end encrypted e-mail is not possible in a webmail world."
