I did a search and couldn't find a similar thread..maybe I didn't look hard enough, but if I did, and there isn't one, I think it'd be a good idea to start one. If there is one..then please point to and close this thread so it settles down to the graveyard. :p

A thread where we all input names/links to removal tools...for antivirus programs. Most of us would agree that it's best to try to fully remove any prior antivirus program using these after the normal add/remove programs is run, before installing and running another.

Most of us are all familiar with the SymNRT and prior RNAV2K3 and prior RNAV tools..

They also have an unsupported tool for their business grade products, Symantec Corp Edition/Small Business Edition....

Sorry! It is highly recommended that first ADD/REMOVE from control panel must be used, followed by restart (before installing any other application) and then run the Uninstallation tool to clean up. The Unistallation Tool cleans far much more than any registry cleaner I have used (including AMUST, Registry Mechanic 5.2 and ccleaner 1.32) :D

Agree...I'm already assuming that we're doing that..normal add/remove programs first...uninstall your app. Run these special removal tools afterwards to "mop up" any remnants. ;)
