    As I keep saying, I need to learn more about this. But as noone_particular notes, it may be a while before that's necessary. And it gets complicated when you consider how VPN providers will handle IPv6.

    I have heard that too but I do not believe it is accurate.
    Set your network manager to disable IPV4 and use automatic IPV6 addressing.
    When I do this, (as I just did now) My network manager reports IPV4 addressing unknown and IPV6 addressing is complete including DNS server addresses. With this configuration I can connect to any HTTPS website including here at Wilders, but I cannot connect to any regular HTTP websites this tells me IPV6 is very much in operation already and I am wondering if IPV6 may already be the default for HTTPS connections when it is enabled.

    For me that's not an option. With the possible exception of the DSL modem, my equipment is strictly IPv4.
