I am wondering how good of a graphics/photo editor the Gimp 2.0 is, I tried the old version before, and didn't really like it, however, after reading through one of my PC magazines I noticed they have released 2.0 with a better interface (The interface is what I didn't like) - So, I am wondering is it worth trying again?

Hi comp... I have seen many people say they like it. I have not tried it at all, don't even know if it's free or not.

IrfanView is very good at what you need also.

Only one way, try Gimp and see. IF it does what you want it to, then you have your answer. :)

    Cheers, TAS

The Gimp is still free for certain. I was awfully tempted to try it, but since I have an older version of Photoshop Elements I still haven't learned to use, I held off. Please do let us know how you like it!
