I am now trialing Ad Muncher, it works good and really block lots of ads while browsing.

I was wondering then if there are good alternative/s to Ad Muncher, especially free ones. I was anxious and hesitant on adding Ad Block on my Firefox as it already consumes high ram memory. Maybe, some that will not install as add ons to firefox. :)

Why not use Hostsman (hosts file manager) and use MVPS or/and Block advert hosts file? Its free and you dont have to have Hostsman running other than when you update the hosts signatures if you try to conserve memory (3 Megabytes). I use adblock plus for firefox but when I use IE the modified hosts file blocks all ads in IE.
I have read here and there where people claims that a large hosts file affects browsing speed, but I cant see any difference really. Best way to know is to try.

I already tested a lot of other programs like Ad Muncher, but none of them can be compared with Ad Muncher!

    Go with it... ;)

USA still the best. But barely.
Thanks. I forgot about this program. Have tried Webwasher & admuncher, one thing or another didn't like about them. But HostsMan 2.1 is the best for me. It's much improved over v1.xx.:D
