    There's mention here of Gnumeric as being an equivalent of Excel.
    Has anyone used Gnumeric a lot? I tried it a couple of years ago but found it very, very, spartan, even more so than OpenOffice.org which I use on a regular basis.

    vasa1, in years past, Wilders member Pedro has been a strong advocate for Gnumeric. Perhaps sending him a PM will shed current light on this program.

    Another question in the same line would be what is the first app you would like to install before the OS' own installation itself. I'd say FD-ISR Classie, but it would need to build a workable bootCD or some little cached partition for it first (Pandlouk's skill at rescue, very please? :) )...
