    The life expectancy is essentially forever. But do to the nature of database files(they grow, but never shring), the time from when the copy finishes until exit(status shows as finalizing) grows from a couple of seconds on a new archive, to several minutes. So the copy updates, keep growing in time. This is the reason I occasionally delete them, and recreate them.

    How often to do this is a function of how often you update the archive, vs how much extra time it takes, vs the time to create a new archive.

    I decided to go with FD-ISR for any software that needs rebooting. Im also going to use one of the shadowing programs probably power shadow (unless there's a better alternative). Many thanks everyone.
