may i know which disk editor did you use?
maybe ifw skips area that are already wiped (00)

    weird
    the command line is
    the /wipe should do it

by the way i can see the progress bar and the byte to write and they are 60gb, so ifw should write 60gb and least keep more then 13 minutes

    thanks brian

    mantra,

I'm having trouble following this thread as you seem to have deleted several of your posts that contained information I need.

I think it is bad practice to delete posts. How can others follow the thread if information is missing? You also deleted your reply to post #195.

    ok i got it
sadly there is not a verbose option , to create a full log
maybe the command line /logl:4 or /logl:10 should tell me if it wiped

is it possible to create images with the boot-CD of "TB for windows" or is it just for restore?

By saying "TB for Windows", do you mean can you make Images using Image for Windows on a boot-CD? If that is the case you would need to make a WinPE boot-CD which contains Image for Windows.

    http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/howto/tbwinpe_tutorial.htm

You could also make a BartPE disk which contains Image for Windows.

http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/ho...BartPE Disk Containing Image for Windows.html

I would just use either the Image for DOS boot-CD or the Image for Linux boot-CD to create Images.

BootIt Bare Metal 1.08 was released on March 21, 2012.

    Changes:

    Updated IFD-GUI and Scripting versions.

Prevent entering an invalid file system value when creating a partition.

Changed extender defaults and remove the .exe wrapper that was used to set extender options to prevent certain dell model notebooks cd boot emulation mode from either corrupting or conflicting with the wrapper (or not reading data proper when the wrapper requests it). The wrapper used the top of conventional memory to load relocation table entries. Dell may want to check that on such models as the XPS L502x

    Other Misc.

i restore image file using linux, but everytime i have to do it i must type the password.
and there is no way to just "add a text file with my password in the bootcd.
    to copy paste it.

You add it during the build...were you prompted for your key when you were building the disk (makedisk)?

I like the hash feature for differentials. It's halved my diff creation time.
