Temporary license has expired

I keep getting this every so often when I start TI 2009, I then have to go find the email with the serial number in it copy paste it and all is well for some time then I have to do this again? What do I need to do to stop this annoying behavior?

Same here, I get this every time I start.

Only since I applied the update from 15th Oct.

It pays to search the forum. This is what has already been posted on this bug in ATI11a aka ATI 12 aka ati2009:


1. Log in your account at https://www.acronis.com/my/
2. Open this link. http://www.acronis.com/my/products/exchange/
3. In the Serial number field enter the defective serial number. A new full serial number will be issued and automatically registered to your account;
4. Download Acronis Registration Update utility:
http://download.acronis.com/support/SN_exchange.exe
5. Run the downloaded file. Select the product that stopped working properly
6. Submit the new serial number to the corresponding field. The registration information about the product will be updated in the system. The product will be recovered to fully functional state.
7. Uninstall (not necessary if you have already made it) and reinstall with the new S/N (remember to use Ctrl-V)

 

I did try a search but must have missed it.

It's kind of awful but no worse than other forums I've beeen on, including those using diff brands of forum software.

A point to remember is that if you subsequently restore from an image of the operating system partition that was made from an Acronis installation with a defective serial number, then you will have to go through the process of changing the serial number again after the restore, so keep the registration update utility somewhere handy.
