TDS3exec.bat

    I just noticed a new file appear on my system and I'm curious. Can anyone explain the purpose of this file. The path is as follows:

    c:\TDS3exec.bat

    Hi, you can open it in notepad, it's part of TDS, i have it since i ever installed TDS and updated probably various times.

    I opened it and all it said was the following:

    set > C:\tdstemp.002
    exit

    Yep, here too, don't know might be part of the installation, TDS-2 had something like that too.

    The file redirects the output of the "set" statement to a temporary file.

    This will return a list of environment variables and their current contents and write it to file. More than likely part of some kind of test.
