Hi, I have just enabled DEP for all programs from within XP by checking the 'Turn on DEP for all programs' option in the 'performance' tab. The following TDS3 components subsequently came up with a DEP alert, and were terminated.

    Execprot - Execution protection component

    Update - database update routine

I have since excluded both from DEP protection and all is well. Is this a known problem?

EDIT Sorry folks I have just seen the same discussion Here
    Thanks
    Tom

Hi Tom, Not a problem DEP sees TDS3's Execection Protection trying to hook an opening process to check it before allowing to run. I would do as you have done and exclude Exec Prot and allow it to check for Trojans :)
You may also find that you need to allow the TDS3 updater in DEP.
