Task Manager tabs have disapeared

    I wonder can anyone help me solve the problem that I have with my task manager. When I press ctrl, alt, del to pull up the task manager it is only showing me the running applications. It looks as though the frame of the box has disapeared. I cannot see the blue bar with the X or minimise buttons not the tabs to show me the running processes and CPU usage. To exit I have to right click on the icon on the task bar and select close.

    I am running Windows XP sp1 on a P4 3GHZ machine with 1G RAM. I haven't installed anything lately that would cause any issues

    any help would be appreciated
